IPC J-STD-001 for our employees

Quality soldering and board component mounting is at the heart of the Class 3 assembly process. The IPC J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies has emerged as the preeminent authority for electronics assembly manufacturing. The standard provides materials, methods, and verification criteria for producing high-quality soldered interconnections. Of course, it goes without saying that all technicians employed by OHM Americas and who work with Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies are IPC J-STD-001 trained and certified. But, at OHM Americas, our process of creating quality, military grade power supplies and converters goes a step further – we employ and maintain an employee who is a holder of IPC Licensed J-STD-001 Certified IPC Trainer Certificate. By employing a trainer we make available to our employees a source of up-to-date information, a coach, and a guide to a sometimes complicated process.
